Day 30 (lock down)
Wednesday 22nd April - walk **** - Felixstowe circuit – Sunny.
After two consecutive 15 mile bike rides in breezy conditions and with the
wind continuing to blow from the East we gave cycling a miss for a couple
of days but have walked along the prom so still getting some exercise:) So
with the sunshine still here on the east coast we decided to take our
sandwich lunch to a quiet spot on the beach and after doing my exercises in
the garden we head down to the very quiet prom, Felixstowe is certainly
like a ghost town, very spooky! The wind has eased from the 25 mph + of the
last couple of days as we headed to Jacobs ladder with vert few people
about. Then onto the beach collecting the odd piece of coal we find a nice
sheltered place behind a wooden groyne:) We saw the resident Kestral over
the beach huts and then continued to The Dip and walked back along the
cliff top and through the town and home for a welcome cuppa and cake:)
Hopefully we will be back on the bikes tomorrow with the wind dropping
more!
